    In this 6 hour baking class, learn from Chef Amber to use the Lambeth method to recreate the beautiful vintage fresh cream cake.

    Chef Amber will demonstrate how to make a soft genoise, a homemade strawberry jam as well as how to fill and crumb the cake using buttercream. Next, she will demonstrate how to make a stable buttercream great for piping. 

    You will then learn the basics of Lambeth piping method as well as how to design your own vintage cream cake and confidently pipe on a real cake. At the end of the class, bring home your own vintage fresh cream cake with strawberry vanilla cake. 

    What you will learn:

    • How to make the perfect genoise using the most simple ingredients (demo only) 
    • How to cook strawberry jam (demo only)
    • How to coat and cover a cake in buttercream (demo only)
    • Introduction to vintage piping and how to pipe confidently on your real cake 
    • Creation of your own design vintage buttercream 


    Note: This class is a decoration class, and there will only be demonstration of baking and cake coating. All cakes will be pre-baked and coated so that you will be able to focus on piping.


    Masterclass policy: 

    By signing up for our masterclass you are agreeing to the following policy. 

    a. Once booked, you are allowed to change the class date once if you were to inform our team a minimum of 7 days before the class commencement. 

    b. You are allowed to transfer the class to another person if you are unable to make it for the class. 

    c. No-shows for class is considered as forfeited, however you will still be entitled for the recipe if you were to collect it in person within 1 week of forfeiting the class. We will not send the recipe in soft copy. 

    d. In the unlikely event when the class is cancelled due to lack of participants, sick instructor or force majeure, you can select to either get back the class in full refund or transfer to your next convenient date.
